The Canadian Fintech Research Institute ("CFRI", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
We collect information you voluntarily submit through our briefing-request form (name, email, organization, and the message you provide), and basic, aggregated analytics about how visitors use this site (page views, referrer, country, device type). We do not collect financial information through this site.
How we use your information
- To respond to briefing requests and other direct inquiries.
- To improve the clarity and performance of this website.
- To send occasional research notes only if you have explicitly opted in.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations in Canada.
PIPEDA compliance
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you have the right to access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request that we delete it. Email info@cfri.io and we will respond within 30 days.
Data retention & security
We retain submission data only as long as it is needed to act on your request and keep a working business record. We do not sell or rent personal information to any third party. Data is stored on infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of functional cookies (theme preference) and lightweight analytics. We do not use ad-tracking cookies.
